Living here, you’ll be in the heart of the city; just steps away from a variety of cuisines to eat and sites to see.

Suffolk University has two residence halls available with suite and apartment-style housing – 10 West Street and One Court Street. Both halls offer free on-site laundry facilities, fully furnished and air-conditioned rooms, 24/7 campus security, and on-campus dining options. Apartments have a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room per unit; while Suites have shared bathrooms, but do not have kitchens or living spaces per unit.

Located on the Columbia Point peninsula of Boston, University of Massachusetts Boston provides gorgeous views of the city skyline. Close to campus you can experience historical and cultural attractions like the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & LibraryBoston Harbor Islands, and The Freedom Trail. Ensure you check out Savin Hill and Malibu Beach to make the most of the warm weather during the summer! Just a short train ride from campus will land you in Downtown Boston when you want to expand your exploration.

UMass Boston offers modern, traditional residence halls to incoming summer interns with either in-room bathrooms or with access to community bathrooms. Rooms come furnished and air conditioned, and each floor offers a lounge. There is a laundry facility in each hall that accepts debit/credit cards and quarters for use. Some on-campus amenities include the state-of-the-art Beacon Fitness Center, equipped with cardio and strength equipment, as well as racquetball/squash courts, that is available for membership purchase.

UMass Boston’s payment terms for interns who stay the full summer can make two payments for their stay, one on June 1 and one on July 1. Those staying a shorter time would need to make payment in full on or before their move in date. No deposit is required for summer intern housing.

Massachusetts College of Art & Design, fittingly, sits on Huntington Ave which is known as “ The Avenue of the Arts”. It is positioned by the world-famous Fenway Park, a huge attraction if you are a baseball fan. MassArt is also within walking distance of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Another attraction is the beautiful James P. MassArt offers three campus residence halls for summer interns - Artists’ Residence, Tree House, and Smith Hall. Tree House and Smith Hall have 2-bedroom suites adjoined by a bathroom/vanity area. Artists’ Residence has 2-to-4-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and living areas that are shared between 1-3 other interns. All three residence halls come equipped with full air conditioning, secured entryway access, high-speed internet service, and cable television access. TVs and telephones are not provided; however, interns are welcome to bring their own. Linen rental is also available to interns who request it.

Tufts University is near Davis square of Somerville, which is known for its character, diversity, and arts scene. There is plenty to do within walking distance of campus, including exploring the vibrant nightlife scene, with a variety of cuisines, cocktail bars, live music, and comedy clubs, as well as entertainment options like visiting the Somerville TheatreCrystal Ballroom for performances, Aidekman Arts Center for art galleries, and many cultural and historical exhibits. Right next to campus is the new Green Line extension which serves as a perfect connecting point for easy travel to Downtown Boston.

Tufts University offers its Sophia Gordon Hall to summer interns who will share a closed suite with three other interns. These suites include a shared living room, bathroom, and kitchen, and they come furnished with air conditioning. Hop the Red Line to Harvard Square or take the Green Line to the North End for a cappuccino and cannoli. Ride the Blue Line to Revere Beach (or the airport). Or catch the Orange Line to Jamaica Plain for eclectic music, food, and culture. You also don't have to walk far for some of Boston's best nightlife scenes on Lansdowne!
