What is Early Access?
Early Access allows individuals to complete the informational portion of the Intern Housing Application. The full application will go live once 2025 Housing Agreements become available. At this time, individuals will receive email notification that the full application is open. From there, applicants will be able to enter the portal to submit a 2-week prepayment to hold their bed space, as well as sign the 2025 Housing Agreement. Once those items are complete, space will be officially reserved for your stay with us. Full Applications will open in the Spring.
How does Parking Work?
Information regarding parking permits will be shared once full applications are submitted and confirmed. This is an additional fee, and will be coordinated through Parking Services directly. Surface lot and Garage parking will be available for interns staying in the Nike Apartments.
Is there a Gym on campus?
Yes! The Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) is located just a few minutes from the Nike Apartments. Interns are able to purchase a summer pass to the RWC for a small fee of $50.00. Passes can be purchased at the front desk of the RWC, just be sure to bring your student ID from your current institution.
Is there public Transportation?
Yes! The Lynx shuttle is Orlando's public transportation option, which has a stop on the UCF Main Campus. Additionally, Interns can show their UCF Conference Key card (room key card) to ride any UCF shuttles. You can view Lynx transportation here: Public Transportation in Orange, Seminole & Osceola and the UCF shuttles here: UCF Shuttle
What are the nightly rates?
2024 nightly rates were $38/night for stays over 30 consecutive days, or $40/night for stays less than 30 days. 2025 rates have not been finalized, however we recommend planning on a 5% increase just in case. All stays are tax exempt as long as the Intern/Scholar can provide proof of current enrollment.
