About Us
Welcome to Simmons!
Simmons University's main campus and residence campus are located in Boston's vibrant Fenway neighborhood, next door to the Longwood Medical Area's internationally famous teaching hospitals and biomedical research centers. From campus, students can walk to numerous cafes, colleges, museums, shops, parks, performance venues and movie theaters.
Boston is a walking city — which is a great advantage for guests. And you can always take the T, Boston's public transportation system. Hop the Red Line to Harvard Square. Take the Green Line to the North End for cappuccino and cannoli. Ride the Blue Line to Revere Beach (or the airport). Or catch the Orange Line to Jamaica Plain for eclectic music, food and culture. You also don't have to walk far for some of Boston's best nightlife scenes on Lansdowne!
There's tons to do right around the corner from the Simmons campus. Just steps from our front door, you can take in some of the greatest pieces of art in the world at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Just down Huntington Avenue, you can head to the Mary Baker Eddy Library, take in a concert at Symphony Hall or the New England Conservatory, and catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park!
Residential Campus
The Simmons residence campus is a cozy oasis that features a traditional New England college quad with stately brick residence halls. Between June and August, resident halls are available for comfortable, affordable, overnight accommodations. Overnight guests have access to Bartol Dining Hall and Holmes Sports Center.
